Ethiopia is rightly proud of its diverse religious heritage; and religious beliefs and traditions are strong. The population of Adigrat is predominantly Christian Orthodox, with a minority of Catholics and Muslims, and thus our doors are open to all and we work mindful of the culture and traditions of the society in which we are based. We recognise the role and importance of the local Orthodox clergy in development and therefore work closely with them in our activities and projects.
In a world where religion is often used as a pretext for the propagation of hatred and violence between different groups, Bruh Tesfa strives to spread a message of fraternity and mutual respect between different beliefs and cultures. It is only when all faiths come together to work in a spirit of friendship and love that we can develop our young people and society as a whole.
